Development
Success for All is not another box of books.
With several professional development days in the first year alone, Success for
All teachers, facilitators and leaders receive intensive support to make certain
implementation of the programme is successful.
Success for All builds a
partnership with your school through training sessions, team-teaching, scheduled
telephone meetings and informal telephone support. Training sessions are
developed in conjunction with school management and are customised to the needs
of your staff.

Initial Training -
The initial training, prepares teachers to implement the chosen programme
components. The training focuses on:
* Co-operative learning structures and processes where children work in
learning teams of four. The children in each team are not only responsible
for mastering the knowledge, skills and understanding themselves, but also
for helping their team-mates learn.
* Elements of the lessons that provide engaging images, routines and the
practice needed to ensure success for each student.
* Tools for assessing children's progress and adapting lessons based
on assessments to meet individual and group needs.
* Support for management to monitor and improve programme
administration.

Goal-Focused Achievement
Planning -
Goal-focused achievement planning sets the stage for success. School
leaders and your SFA Consultant develop specific goals and monitor pupil
progress.
* Every eight weeks teachers, management and SFA consultants review
children's progress data.
* Goals and interventions for the following eight weeks are planned
based on the data.

Ongoing Training and
Support -
As the year progresses you will have a variety of ways to work with your
SFA Consultant to review your progress and refine your goals. Your school
receives:
* Telephone support to answer questions and troubleshoot.
* At least one support visit each year is recommended to observe
children's reading in classrooms, meet with teachers and administrators,
review data on children's progress and set new goals.
* Unlimited, informal telephone support for all staff members.
A half
day of support with a consultant is £350;
A full day of support with a consultant is
£450;
A half
day of training with a consultant is £450;
A full day of training with a consultant is
£650
